My Dog is Sad

I left my dog at home. Crushie had to go to “Puppy Camp,” also known as “Puppy Jail.” She really didn't want to go. In fact, as everyone knows, pets have a sixth sense about the suitcase. They sulk! They whine! They moan and groan letting you know they are dependent upon you and really dependent upon routine. And they need and want your love.
The normal routine is the 4:00am rise and shine! We go for our walk. She does her duty! The can of cat food is opened and shared between Crushie and the cat. A little bit of yogurt and finally the lapping of the cereal milk completes the early morning. Of course a pot of coffee brews during this lazy half hour. The aroma wafts through the house. The animals are protected, comfortable and truly relaxed as the day begins. The sights, the sounds, the smells of routine have evolved over eons.
I am envious of the European treatment of pets. Dogs are welcomed in many shopping establishments and sleep under tables in local Kaffehaus', pubs and restaurants. It's just normal! They are part of the family and as a member of the family they share in the daily social regime.
What could be better? A cup of JavaMoose Coffee with “Rover”...Man's Best Friend!
This is Cindy. She was pictured in Wertheim Germany riding her bike with Dog's Best Friend!
