Three Reasons to Spend Time at the Coffee House

Actually there are a lot of reasons to spend time at your local coffee house. I’m narrowing it down to my top three favourites.
1- It’s about the coffee! Nothing smells better than freshly roasted coffee being ground and then getting to try it! Let’s face it, the local roaster has many more varieties on offer than you could reasonably stock in your pantry. Even if you don’t partake of the ever changing daily offers you can peruse the whole bean selection for something you might like to try later at home. Take time to smell the coffee, the broad selection allows you to sniff, sample and savor to your hearts content. Try to avoid coffee houses that “airwick” artificial coffee aromas into their establishments. Unfortunately this actually happens. At JavaMoose you will always encounter authentic coffee aromas from locally roasted beans.
2-You meet the nicest, most interesting people at JavaMoose...and not just our staff. The coffee house is great place to see and be seen. You never know who is going to show up. Socializing is one of life’s great pleasures. You can meet new people in the coffee house, they are generally a gregarious bunch and don’t mind new acquaintances at all. I can honestly say I meet new and fascinating people at JavaMoose every day, some are characters, some are contractors, some are doctors, some are students and some are narly-bike-riding-tough-guy-kinda-scary on first impression-types (one of whom became a lifelong friend.) The coffee house is the best place going to drop your prejudices at the door and meet the inhabitants of the world head on. It’s fun.
3-You can spend an hour or a day doing whatever suits your mood. You can write the novel the world’s been waiting for or you can read your paper. You can catch up on other news and you can fool your clients into thinking you are hard at work on their file. Best of all you can set your own schedule, be your own boss and own your time. The coffee house is a pressure free zone that lets you be yourself. Grab a Latte or a Mocha and indulge the person you want to be.
